Random Musings and Notes...
Every writer has notebooks, phone notes, and folders full of ideas that randomly come to mind either at 2AM or while in line for coffee. I don't intend on sharing these things, but it's all here...
Untitled 3 - feature
I thought of this idea literally 2 seconds before writing this. No, I'm not actually writing it yet because I need to finish other things first.
Untitled 2 - feature
Started jotting down and planning out storylines for my second feature.
Follows a young musician and her struggle to balance her career and family life.
The Talented Miss Reine - feature
ALSO working on the second draft of my first feature screenplay. Loosely based on a true story I was told.
Richard, a young newcomer in New York City, lands a job at one of the most lauded indie film production studios. Struggling to balance the relentless workload and a redeveloping relationship with his high school ex, Rich must pick between his career and a very unpredictable woman.
100 Reasons I Love You - 30 minute tv
ALSO ALSO currently writing a spec pilot for an original television show.
A 30-minute episodic series following two college students who have just broken up, and they must learn to navigate college and life as separate individuals.
"Yosemite" - Pen15 Spec - 30 minute tv
A spec teleplay of the show Pen15. Is this technically illegal?
The gang goes on a school trip to Yosemite, where Anna develops an obsession with the much older campsite leader, Lenny. Maya and Sam agree: there's something off about him. Meanwhile, the other girls plan to infiltrate the boys' cabin, a big violation of the rules set by the chaperones.
The Last Day - short film
A script I'd written for my Advanced Narrative production (thesis film), but unfortunately the project fell through due to logistics surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Who knows if this will ever see the light of day.
While packing for her big move to California, Emma finds her ex's hoodie. Feeling like she never had proper closure, she reaches out to him for the first time in a year.
Our Apartment - short film
My Intermediate Narrative production. More details here.
Samantha arrives in New York to help her younger sister, Grace, move out of their late father's apartment. However, Grace has abruptly decided not to sell the apartment, despite Samantha's determination to do so.
A Nice Thing to Remember - short film
I wrote this in the last few months of my first relationship, before we had actually broken up, so it's admittedly a bit romanticized in hindsight. But it was honest. More details here.
As she tries to move on, a college student reflects on her first relationship and thinks back on the memories.
